Aurora Energy Plant Tour

Ever wondered how the Aurora Energy Plant downtown works? How much energy it provides? Who uses energy from the plant? Here’s your chance to find out this November!

Prestige Members are invited to an hour long, guided tour of the Aurora Power Plant on November 15th. There are two tour times available. Each tour can take a limited number of members due to reduced earshot and elevated noise levels during parts of the tour. Hard hats, protective eye-wear and protective earplugs will be provided.

Once a tour time is filled, I will send out an email update. UPDATE: The 10:30 tour time has been filled.

The tour group will be walking through the facility, as well as visiting the rooftop for a view of Fairbanks. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and comfortable, warm shoes. There will be time to ask questions in a quieter area.
